Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Planning is free and there's no sign-up. If you book through one of the partner links on your plan, we may earn a commission — that's what pays for the service, and it never changes the price you pay.

How accurate are the prices?

They're realistic estimates for Indian travel, not live quotes. Train and bus fares are fairly stable and tend to land close; flights and hotels move with demand, so treat those as a budget to check against rather than a guaranteed rate. Every plan is costed per day so you can see exactly where the money goes and adjust.

Does it book anything for me?

No. SafarBudget never takes a payment or makes a booking. Your plan links out to the places you'd book anyway — IRCTC, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda and others — with your route and dates already filled in. You book there, on their site, with their prices.

Can I share a plan with the people I'm travelling with?

Yes. Every plan gets its own link. Anyone you send it to sees the whole thing — budget, itinerary and booking links — without installing anything or making an account.
