Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using SafarBudget (the website and the SafarBudget app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What SafarBudget is
SafarBudget generates AI-based travel itineraries and budget estimates for trips within India, based on the details you provide (origin, destination, dates, budget, party size and travel preferences). It also lets you log expenses against a trip and split them between travellers.
SafarBudget is not itself a travel agent, tour operator, airline, railway, bus operator or hotel, and does not itself sell, take payment for or process any travel booking. Bookings are made by our partner travel agency — see section 4.
3. Estimates, not guarantees
Itineraries, prices, schedules, seat availability and day-by-day plans are AI-generated estimates based on general knowledge of typical routes and prices. They are not live data, are not sourced from any booking system in real time, and may not reflect current availability, fares, timings or conditions. If you ask us to book a trip, our travel partner confirms live prices and availability with you before you pay anything.
4. Bookings through our travel partner
If you send a booking request from a plan, SafarBudget passes it to our partner travel agency, who contacts you with a quote. You are under no obligation to accept it. Any booking you then make is a contract directly between you and that travel agency, governed by its own terms, pricing, payment and cancellation policies. SafarBudget is not a party to that booking and is not responsible for its performance.
The price that applies to a booking is the one the travel partner confirms with you, not the estimate shown in your plan.
SafarBudget may receive a referral fee from the travel partner for trips it books from requests sent through SafarBudget.
5. Your data on this device
SafarBudget does not require an account. Trips, members and expenses you create are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, or switching devices will remove that history. We are not responsible for data lost this way — see the Privacy Policy for more on what we do and don't store.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't use SafarBudget to send abusive input, attempt to disrupt or probe the service, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or limit access for use that we reasonably believe violates these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
SafarBudget is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafarBudget and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from travel decisions, bookings, missed connections, price differences, or other outcomes based on information shown in the app — including where the travel partner's quote, or a supplier's own price or availability, differs from what was estimated here.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of SafarBudget after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
